Oi Gente ! Have you also completely fallen for the Brazilian culture ? Do you think brazilian people are not only speaking but actually singing ? Say no more ! Here are some resources I've been using to learn this beautiful language. Vamos la !
1) Speaking Brazilian Language school - Youtube channel
With the great Virginia, you'll get to learn lessons on grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation of Brazilian Portuguese. A great thing about those videos is that they're all in Portuguese with english subtitles : not only are you learning new points, but you're also getting familiar with the pronunciation and the rythm of brazilian portuguese !
2) Linguno
To get familiar with conjugation and vocabulary, I highly recomment linguno : it's very simple to use and quite effective !
3) Learn with books!
Reading in Portuguese will not only increase your vocabulary, but also help with you with the way native speakers usually structure their sentences ! As a beginner, you can start with "Short story in Brazilian Portuguese" from Olly Richards. As you get more comfortable with the language, you'll be able to enjoy more books. I started by reading children stories, then stories i already knew.
4) Practice with native speakers
Without my great brazilian friends, i would not have been able to improve and enjoy as much my adventure with portuguese! Having a language partner is essential and thanks to many apps and platforms, it is not so hard to find. I've personnaly used Italki and i'm extremely happy to have found two friends i still talk to every week (Ariene e Rebeka, muiiiiiiiiiito obrigada pela ajuda ne !)
5) Learn with films and series
To improve your listening skills and get accustomed to the musicality of brazilian portuguese, you can find a lot of brazilian series and films on Netflix. If you have theopportunity, try to get access to Globo, the largest mass media group of latin america!
